Darcy Haight

Video Production Teacher

Darcy Haight

Darcy found his niche in videography at the age of 10 with a vintage RCA camcorder, filming family functions and occasional daring feats of gullible yet courageous friends. Darcy began studying film in high school and took a Co-op course at Rogers Television in Barrie, where his thirst for video production grew. He continued to study video production at Canadore College, graduating from the Television Broadcasting and Video Production program in 2007. Darcy also studied film at Nippising University while obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Geography. After university, Darcy operated as a freelance videographer/photographer, producing corporate videos, commercials, and special event videos outside of his full time employment renovating and flipping homes in North Bay. In February 2015 Darcy hung up the hammer, moved back to his home town of Barrie, and started Full Frame Videography, offering professional video and photo services in southern Ontario.
