Dino Zorzi
3D Animation Teacher
Dino Zorzi brings more than twenty-five years of teaching experience from both the private sector and the public education system. Dino holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Laurentian University in Sudbury and a Master of Arts degree in History from the University of Western Ontario in London where he also worked as a Teaching Assistant. He then spent three years as a computer software instructor and consultant before pursuing a Bachelor of Education degree at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton. Soon after another year of working as a self-employed computer instructor and consultant, Dino was hired by the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic district School Board to teach for one year at the St. Joseph's Adult Education Centre in Gravenhurst. He then established the Communication Technology program at the then newly built St. Peter's Catholic Secondary School in Barrie where he still teaches. Over the nineteen years in running this program, his students have gone on to study and work in a variety of communication technology fields of animation, broadcasting, audio recording and editing, film production and editing, and computer game design. He has an extensive knowledge and experience in a variety of computer programs including video editing, audio production and editing, desktop publishing, 2D animation, and 3D animation. Dino is looking forward to joining the Spaulding School of the Arts teaching faculty and sharing with students the joys and wonder of 3D animation.
